Matriarch Medicine Bundles ~ Women's Day ~ March 8 - Jardin De Los Suenos
Calling in women on their healing paths, business babes, spiritual initiates, and energetic arts practitioners.
You are welcome to come sit, listen, and share—across generations, disciplines, and lived experience.
I am deeply grateful—and genuinely excited—to offer the foundational teachings that have shaped me, steadied me, and served as my personal salve. These are the roots of all my one-on-one work with women. From there, these frameworks grew into the basis of the work I’ve been blessed to do with communities and agencies who have invited me to facilitate deeper, braver conversations in service of both individual and collective healing.
What will be shared during this precious Women’s Day mini-retreat—by myself and others—may include things that are hard to hear. It will also include things that are true, clarifying, and deeply resonant. Either way, I ask that you come prepared: open, resourced, and rooted in your own care.
We will be held by community-centered, trauma-informed sharing protocols, including a commitment to not sharing graphic details of triggering events. Care for self and for the circle is part of the practice.
These oral histories and governance codes have been my north star and my sense-maker—my solace, my anchor to self and lineage healing—through the darkest moments of my life. They have steadied me in the profound pain of personal betrayal by other women. And they have kept me grounded when I’ve felt I could not hold the weight any longer, bearing witness to the many violences women continue to face.
This is the medicine I know. This is the fire I tend. And this is what I’m honored to share.
10:00 — Arrival, mingling, grounding, fruit & energy sharing
10:20 — Optional smudge and wing ceremony
Followed by Before the Before: a foundational offering exploring the intersections of matriarchy and patriarchy. We’ll name the abuse, grief and loss of our bundles carried forward through history, and clarify what is ours to undo, unlearn, and reclaim.
12:15 — Nourishing lunch
1:00 — Healing Circle
We have paid dearly for our gifts and our medicine. Our hearts have been broken—by men, yes—but also by friends, sisters, and the very circles meant to hold us. This is a reflective sharing space to name, in general terms, what has been lost and what has been healed through lived experiences of misogyny and patriarchy, especially when internalized or enacted by other women.
3:00 — Ocean songs & water prayer
We cross the dunes to learn a women’s prayer song and bring offerings—words on paper, flowers, fruit—to the ocean for healing.
Many of us were mothered by women who were unwell—and they were mothered by women who were struggling too. The breaking did not start with us. Our women’s lineages, songs, and ceremonies were intentionally disrupted, and that disruption lives in our bodies, our relationships, our silence, and our rage.
But it does not have to continue with us.
It’s time.
Let’s heal.
