All the things…..

Fertility
Even at a young age, I intuited that I wouldn’t have biological children. Despite that, I’ve often known when a woman would become pregnant, or even sensed a pregnancy before she did.
Supporting women who are considering pregnancy, facing complications, or planning for different possibilities has been a cornerstone of my practice.

Substance recovery
I know that substance use often begins long before someone is ready to seek help. Very few people struggling with addiction are open to recovery or group support at first, which is why relapse, or worse outcomes, can be so common.
Many end up isolated or surrounded by people who reinforce their behaviors. Through therapy, prayer, ceremony, and group support, I help people find their way home. I work with all recovery approaches; I have experience supporting people through both abstinence and harm reduction.

Intergenerational Bundles
Science now confirms what some cultures have always known. We carry fourteen generations of epigenetic memory in our DNA and blood. Our blood holds shadows, trauma, grief, and loss.
These wounds can be reinforced by our own life experiences, sometimes with distinct family cycles we don’t even realize we’re repeating.
But we also carry intergenerational strengths, resilience, and wisdom. I work with people to explore this together, helping you recognize both the challenges and the gifts you carry.
Facilitation
Over a decade of one-on-one work showed me that cycles of suffering appear across all my clients, regardless of age, race, gender, or worldview. Developing my own curriculum became a way to reach more people, in workplaces, communities, and family groups.
Through way home work, I offer a variety of courses and workshops. Topics include: emotional regulation, boundary setting communication, grief and loss, trauma, the “four F’s”; (fight, flight, freeze, and fawn) and more.
I’ve presented in a variety of settings, from grassroots organizations to agencies and government programs.
For over nine years, I’ve served as an auntie at a renowned agency. In this role, I’ve been supporting youth who have “aged out” of foster care and no longer qualify for supports. For five years, my weekly circle has been one of the most attended groups in the agency’s history.
I’ve also spent the past five years holding space for and opening/closing a circle of scientists, mental health professionals, and peer support workers. They are working tirelessly to reduce fentanyl-related risks among vulnerable populations, who face incarceration cycles, systemic racism, compound trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
Matriarch Medicine Bundles
After fifteen years of working as an outsider and guest in various communities, I’ve developed a broad expertise in trauma and trauma-informed care. I’ve used active listening and my own experiences with trauma to develop methods to offer meaningful support. Over time, I noticed patterns in both urban and rural clients that shaped the offerings I provide today.
Guided by a lifetime of studying healing and women’s medicine, and a deep interest in matriarchal governance, I created a series of workshops focused on healing women, and all people, from misogyny. We explore topics like lateral violence, online and real-world abuse. We consider the ways our own implicit biases affect our relationships with ourselves, other women, and people across the spectrum of gender and racial identities.
I have had the privilege of collaborating with women I admire in leadership to develop a framework of teachings in governance and healing. I’ve been blessed to by joined by Red Hummingbird Woman, a trusted former chief, colleague, spirit fast and ceremonial sister.
Together our work has brought us into multiple pathways of service. We approach this collaboration as a partnership between overlapping areas of expertise and different perspectives/ Depending on where we are presenting we also swap out roles with lived experience and guest experience. Together we bring a focusing in on cultural competency with some, governance and healing with others.
To date, we’ve worked with agencies across Turtle Island. Organizations include Indigenous Services Canada, Department of Fisheries, matriarchs and clan leadership, and smaller grassroots groups.
Our work unpacks systemic and individual challenges, carefully examining beliefs, roadblocks, and worldviews. While our educational and workshop frameworks can be tailored, offered online or in person, they are always designed with room to continue working with the best parts of pre-existing teachings or culture in the community or work place.
Matriarch Medicine Bundles is a roadmap for individuals or groups to chart their own path toward greater cohesion, shared vision, and collective agreements. By increasing self-awareness, participants can communicate more clearly, create “win-win” outcomes, and practice healthy conflict resolution.
Although focused on matriarchal governance teachings, these Bundles are open to men, non-binary people, and anyone seeking clarity, personal growth, and a healthier community or workplace culture.
